Our products and services may be offered at fixed or hourly rates and include Wix website design, Wix website maintenance, SEO, Wix website templates, social media services, third-party software integrations, graphic design, email marketing, checklists, digital products, and other marketing services. Current pricing for SBSS products and services is available at smallbusinessstartupsolutions.com and our secondary domain, wix-websites.com, where purchases are processed. Any purchases must be used within one (1) year of the purchase date. Unused time expires after one year. By purchasing a product or service from SBSS, subscribing to our communications, using this website, or contacting us, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
We will regularly review and update the Terms of Service to align with company updates and industry best practices. It is the client's responsibility to carefully review the Terms of Service in full before entering into an agreement with SBSS.This Agreement remains in effect until it is updated or replaced by a newer version. The most current version will govern your use of our website, products, and services.
SBSS is a Legend Wix Partner and may receive compensation from Wix when clients purchase or upgrade eligible Wix hosting plans, premium services, applications, email services, and other Wix products.
Upon purchase and full payment, ownership of the completed marketing service is to be transferred to the client. SBSS obtains a non-exclusive, perpetual, and worldwide license to use any marketing services/products for marketing purposes, including showcasing it in our online portfolio and marketing materials. Ownership transfer is dependent upon the client accepting the ownership invitation.
Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity
SBSS prohibits discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Learn more about how SBSS strives for equal opportunity in our workplace and community in our Diversity and Inclusion and Accessibility Statement.
Accessibility
We strive to make our website, marketing, services, and business operations accessible to individuals with disabilities and follow accessibility best practices. Learn more about our efforts to support accessibility in our Accessibility Statement.
Marketing Services
Certain products and services are subject to additional terms and policies specific to the purchase. These terms will be presented and must be accepted during the checkout process.
The Process
Clients begin with a complimentary 15-minute website consultation. Any additional strategy, planning, or project discussions are provided as part of a paid marketing service. If the consultation is not used before purchasing a service, clients may request that the complimentary 15 minutes be applied to their first scheduled service session.
Once a service is purchased, clients receive access to a member portal area called My Marketing, where project updates, status, and other relevant information about the project are shared. The member portal serves as the primary location for tracking project progress.
Website Access and Permissions
If the client has an existing website, they may invite SBSS to collaborate by adding our company email, info@wix-websites.com. We recommend assigning the Co-Owner role to provide the level of access needed to manage the website and applications.
Unless otherwise requested, SBSS will remain an administrator on the website until our permissions are removed or modified by the client or another authorized administrator on the Wix account.
Content
Content Gathering
The client bears the responsibility of supplying essential content, materials, and assets required for the project in its most final form and is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any content provided.
This encompasses, but is not limited to, text, images, logos, videos, links and any other media. SBSS will gather and integrate any remaining content as necessary, even if the client has not explicitly requested it or supplied it, including the procurement of free stock images, videos, graphics, website copy and social media links. If any content is delivered after the design has started additional time will be needed on the project to review it, confirm it is suitable for the site and rearrange the design to add it to the site.
Client content should have clearly labeled file names and be consolidated to a shared Google Drive or a single e-mail. Sharing labels for photos is crucial for the SEO alt text and accessibility purposes.
The client grants SBSS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the provided content and materials for the sole purpose of fulfilling the web design services.
Content Review
After the client submits their project content, SBSS will review the materials and, in most cases, notify the client within 1–3 business days if any additional information is needed. Content should first be submitted in its raw form. Following the review, SBSS may provide recommendations, guidance, and best practices to help refine the content and align it with the project's goals.
Copyright Infringement
The client commits not to submit any content or materials that violate the copyrights or intellectual property rights of third parties. In the event that SBSS has reason to believe that the client is submitting content that infringes on copyrights, we retain the right to decline acceptance and will refuse to work on the content in question.
Objectionable or Prohibited Content
SBSS has the right to refuse to update any content or materials that are deemed objectionable, offensive, or violate any laws or regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is defamatory, discriminatory, harmful, or infringing upon the rights of others.
SBSS will not work with businesses in the following industries:

Your Member Portal (My Marketing) will be updated throughout your project with requests, progress updates, and completed work to reference and help keep the project organized.
Clients are responsible for staying engaged and communicating throughout their project. Timely communication from the client is crucial to maintaining the project's alignment with the agreed timeline. All project-related communications count toward purchased service time. This includes, but is not limited to, emails, text messages, phone calls, video meetings, in-person meetings, content reviews, research, recommendations, strategy discussions, revisions, project management, status updates, and other communications initiated by either the client or SBSS in support of the project.
Feedback and Approval
